Mrs. Suzie Tyner

Room 102

Courses for 2016-2017:

English III H

English V

A little bit about me:  I just finished up my 29th year of teaching; the last 9 years have been here at HHS.  I did my undergraduate work at the University of Northern Colorado (a long  time ago!), and received my Master's in Education at Francis Marion University.  I am certified to teach Secondary English, Gifted and Talented, Advanced Placement Language, and International Baccalaureate English.  I have many interests and hobbies, but one thing really stands out--I am definitely a literature nerd!

Don't forget to read this summer!  And I don't just mean your summer reading selections, read other things as well!  If you want suggestions for great books, send me an email, and I will send you some ideas!

English III Honors students should read Wonder by R. J. Palacio and Blue Hole back home by Joy Jordan-Lake.

English V students should read Wonder by R. J. Palacio (the school-wide selection).
