My name is Jennifer Waldrop. I teach students with moderate intellectual disabilities at Hartsville High School. I earned my BS degree in Elementary Education and certification in Learning Disabilities from Francis Marion University. I further my education by earning a M.Ed. degree in Special Education from the University of South Carolina. I have been in education for more than twenty years. In addition to my degrees, I have extensive specialized training in autism.
My philosophy for working with individuals with disabilities is "They can learn". It may take different teaching techniques and more time. However- they can learn to be productive and responsible citizens in our communities.
