Lorrie Bethea

Welcome to Hartsville High School.  I am the School Psychologist for Hartsville High School.  I have been employed as a psychologist for eight years, five of which have been part of the Red Fox family.  I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of South Carolina, and received my Master’s degree in School Psychology from Francis Marion University.

As a school psychologist, my goal is to help children and youth succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.  I collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to help create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments for students.  I am looking forward to working with your son or daughter this year.  I am sure with us all working together he/she will have a successful year.  Please feel free to contact me at any time during this school year if you have questions or concerns.  Parents and students can reach me at 857-3817 or through email at lorrie.bethea@darlington.k12.sc.us.  Your child’s success is my greatest priority and concern.
