Who am I?

I am originally from Medellin, Antioquia State, Colombia.  I graduated from Pontificia Bolivariana University in  1986 and earned my master’s degree in 2000. I travelled to the US in 2000 as part of the Visiting International Faculty Program . I have been  taking different courses for the foreign language IB Program. I’m in the US as part of a cultural exchange program fifteen years ago. I am married and I have a son. I like to spend time with my family and friends

I love to teach languages, because I want to help my students to learn and understand that learning a foreign language gives them the great opportunity to have an open mind to communicate in a different way, and to be aware about other different cultures. .  I really expect from my students to have a positive attitude to do and participate in all the proposed activities in order to improve everyday the communication and the pragmatic part of a new language.

I look forward to work and enjoy this cultural and foreign language journey with all my students
