The Hartsville High School Media Center will be an integral part of the curriculum by serving as the educational center of the school. It will assist the members of the learning community with access to their informational needs by providing print and non-print materials that support the curriculum. The collection will emphasize literacy, promote resource-based learning, and encourage reading for pleasure.  The media center will provide appropriate informational technologies to prepare students for the workplace of tomorrow.
