Clemson University Hosts Summer Math Camp for Girls
We Do Math! is a one-week, overnight summer camp held at Clemson University for rising ninth and tenth grade girls. Students are given the opportunity to develop algebraic and geometric concepts, while also working on critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. Group activities are designed to build confidence in math. Students also explore science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) careers. 2015 National Youth Science Camp for Seniors
High School Seniors may apply to receive a full scholarship to exchange ideas with scientists and other professionals from the academic and corporate worlds as part of the 2015 National Youth Science Camp. The experience is from June 17th to July 11th. It includes lectures and hands-on research projects presented by scientists from across the nation, overnight camping trips into the Monongahela National Forest and a visit to Washington, DC. Interested students may pick up a handout from the Guidance Office. The deadline to apply is March 1st, 2015.
ARTSUMMER is designed to provide recognition, encouragement, and enrichment for talented actors, vocal or instrumental musicians, visual artists, and dancers. This intensive and individualized course of study in the arts is available for grades 6-9. The deadline for applications and the non-refundable application fee is due by Friday, March 13, 2015.
